Visibility plays a key role in the growth of women’s sport. This is something all of us involved with Irish women’s rugby have experienced first-hand in recent years with increased media coverage, not only making us as players feel more supported, but also having a positive impact on the numbers attending our games and indeed, playing rugby right around the country. Having the games shown on TV is fantastic, but having GUINNESS encouraging pubs across Ireland to show the games in an effort to grow our audience can play a really key role in helping the sport continue to grow.
